So it seems I've been banned from the BBS again for backseat modding. I would bitch at whichever mod carried out this unnecessary ban, but unfortunately they didn't leave a signature. So now instead you all get to read my rant. :D

To start, I posted in an idiotic thread where the OP was shitting bricks about how Tom Fulp was online. My post read like this:

A) Do you really need to make a topic over this?
B) Choose a better topic title next time. This one isn't descriptive at all.

Neither of those is backseat modding. The first questions the reasons why the topic was posted. The second informs the user that a topic title of "oshi" is poor and needs improvement.

Now, the mod's clever response read like this:

C) don't backseat moderate.

Well Mr. Moderator, back seat modding is the same as backseat driving, yelling at the person in charge about how to do their job. I did no such thing. I informed the user of their faults and how to improve them. I don't understand how my post violated any rules. Had my post been something along the lines of, "LOL BAD TOPIC TITLE MODS PLZ LOCK" then I would accept my ban like a man. I do not accept this ban. This is an illegitimate ban and I would like to know which moderator did it and why.

All I know is that in the end of the day I'm going to be a less helpful BBS user if this is how I get treated for trying to set things straight.
